Bright Futures UK wins two Charity Times Awards

Charity Times Awards 2026

We’re delighted to share that Bright Futures UK won two awards at the Charity Times Awards 2026: Charity of the Year (income under £1 million) and Digital Transformation of the Year.

This is the second year in a row that we’ve been named Charity of the Year in our category. It’s a moment of pride for everyone who has helped us grow our work and reach more children and young people whose education has been disrupted by serious illness.

Through tutoring, mentoring, befriending and workshops, we help young people keep learning, build confidence and feel connected during a difficult time. None of this would be possible without the commitment of our volunteers, the trust of the families we support, and the generosity of our partners and supporters.

Winning Digital Transformation of the Year is also a recognition of the work happening behind the scenes. We want to make it easier for people to connect with our services, volunteer with us and help us deliver the best possible support. This award celebrates the team’s efforts to keep improving how we do that.

To everyone who has given their time, shared their expertise, made a donation or championed our mission: thank you. These awards belong to you too.

Congratulations to all the finalists and winners at this year’s Charity Times Awards. We’re proud to be part of a sector filled with people working to make a difference.
