We’re excited to share that Bright Futures UK is now using Volunteero, our new volunteer management platform.
Many of our existing volunteers may already have seen the news through our volunteer community emails, but we wanted to share a little more about what the move means and why we’re making it.
Creating a better experience for our volunteers
Our volunteers play an essential role in helping us support children and young people whose education has been disrupted by serious illness.
As our volunteer community continues to grow, we want to make sure that the experience of volunteering with Bright Futures UK grows with it. That means making things as straightforward as possible, reducing unnecessary admin and giving volunteers a simple way to access the information they need.
Volunteero gives us a central platform where volunteers can manage their volunteering, stay connected with our team and keep up to date with relevant information. It also gives our volunteer team a better way to support our growing community and manage opportunities across our programmes.
Everything in one place
Whether you volunteer with us as a Tutor, Mentor, Befriender or support one of our Workshops, Volunteero will help make managing your volunteering simpler.
Rather than information being spread across different places, the platform creates one central home for your volunteering with Bright Futures UK.
The Volunteero app can be accessed from your phone, making it easier to keep up to date wherever you are.
Already volunteering with Bright Futures UK?
If you’re an existing volunteer, you should have received information from our volunteer team about accessing Volunteero.
Please download the Volunteero app and follow the instructions provided to sign into your account.
If you haven’t received your details, are having trouble accessing the platform or have any questions about the move, our volunteer team is here to help. Simply get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to support you.
Interested in volunteering with us?
Volunteero will also help us make it easier for new volunteers to discover opportunities to get involved with Bright Futures UK.
Our volunteers support young people in lots of different ways, from helping them continue their education through tutoring to providing friendship, mentoring and engaging workshop experiences.
Every volunteer helps us work towards our belief that no child or young person should miss out on education because of serious illness.
We’re excited about this next step for our volunteer community and look forward to continuing to make volunteering with Bright Futures UK an even better experience.
