Become A Tutor
We’re looking for volunteers who are passionate about learning and have at least one academic qualification above the level they’d like to teach. With your skills and encouragement, you can help young people not only keep up but also thrive.
Tutoring Programmes
Education is often disrupted when a young person faces illness. Your role as a tutor is to provide consistent, structured support so they can stay connected to schoolwork and return with greater confidence. Every session is a chance to make learning enjoyable, meaningful, and effective.
Tutoring sessions are usually online, making them easy to arrange around your own schedule. Whether you can commit to one hour a week or more, your contribution ensures that no young person is left behind in their education.
Tutoring with Bright Futures UK gives you valuable experience in one-to-one teaching. You’ll develop your ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and track progress – skills that are highly transferable to both education and professional careers.
When you join Bright Futures UK as a tutor, you become part of a community of dedicated volunteers who are committed to helping young people thrive. You’ll be supported with resources, training, and recognition for the difference you make.

Volunteer Mentor

Volunteer Tutor (Biology)
It was a positive experience when my tutee told me that psychology (our subject) had become her favourite subject to study. It goes to show how impactful 1-1 sessions are for young people.
